This page is intended to give non-members a sense of what our community is about. We love inviting new people into our community, but in order to attend you must apply for membership. Please note that we do not advertise our events outside our community. You must join in order to see our complete calendar and all our events are for members (and their guests) only.
Alliance Events
Alliance events are produced by teams of amazing volunteers at Mission Control. When you become a dues paying member of Mission Control, all these events are free or deeply discounted. Each event has its own flavor and its own community. Try them all to see which one suits you best, or be one of the people who goes to them all!
Creating Creative Relationships is a series of classes featuring various educators and facilitators who present an expansive conception of relationship configurations, family, and gender.
Pink is Mission Control's house party and it's where you'll find the core of our community. If you want to really get to know us, this is where you'll meet the volunteers that make Mission Control happen.
Threshold is the place where our community explores BDSM. We start each Threshold with a workshop where iconic personalities come to share their knowledge with us. Each event brings a new focus which guests can explore.
Velvet is created by queer women and the trans folks and genderqueers who love them. This event invites queer women, trans folks, genderqueers, and intersex people.
SOUL: An event exclusively for POC of all ethnicities and combinations thereof. This event is open for all experience levels, and the level of your involvement is entirely up to you. SOUL’s hosts are a coalition of POC event hosts, producers, and members. Our mission is to bring POC together in a space where we create the rules and can exist as our authentic selves.
PEEK PARTY Welcome to Peek, Mission Control's first party celebrating exhibitionism. We believe that at their best there is synergy between voyeurism and exhibitionism. Voyeurs make the party more fun for the exhibitionists; exhibitionists make the party more fun for voyeurs.
ACTION Day is when the community comes together to make upgrades to the space. It takes all of us to keep Mission Control thriving and this is an opportunity to give back to the community that gives so much.
Epic Volunteer Appreciation is a gathering for volunteers only. We celebrate our special community with the people who make it magical.
Collaborative Events
Mission Control collaborates with other local groups who share our values. These events are presented at deeply discounted rates to our Ally members.
TurnON is a workshop series by Alison Ash. Empower yourself through radical self-exploration and courageous self-expression. Dr. Alison Ash is an intimacy coach and empowerment educator who has explored the intricacies of intimacy and gender for more than a decade.
Kinky Salon is a global community with events happening all over the world. Founded in San Francisco, it’s origins are intertwined with Mission Control. They are symbiotic organizations, and yet distinctly different. To learn the full story

Gender Blender is committed to upholding consent culture and creating designated safe spaces for anyone who is often othered and for communities that are often marginalized or exoticized.
Love Triangle is an event dedicated to non monogamous community. It’s specifically created for poly-identified, poly-curious, and poly-friendly folks
